A Closer Look At How Ramsey Ripped Cardiff Apart As Arsenal Go 7 Points Clear At The Top

Last week Manchester United struggled to pass Cardiff down in Wales, eventually drawing the game 2-2, but the Bluebirds' run out against Arsenal was anything but easy. The Gunners invited Malkay Mckay's men to the capital and picked them apart with their sensational football, but there was one man who stood out amongst the rest in the 3-0 victory, and that was Aaron Ramsey.

The Wales international went up against his former employers but was in no mood to show any remorse as he scored twice to boost his season's tally to 13. His first was a header and his second was a fine strike from inside the area, but his general performance in the game was impressive.

He won 4/6 of his take ons, two of which were inside the Cardiff box, and he came out on top in 100% of his tackles, headed duels and his clearances.

He covered an enormous amount of ground during the game and was essential to how Arsene Wenger's side pressed Cardiff into submission.

He also had the chance to display his beautiful passing facility - Ramsey completed 86% of his 70 attempted balls and from them two were key.

He stunned his old side and as a result Arsenal now sit seven points clear at the top.
