Brendan Rodgers was quick to implement the type of player he wants at Anfield when he arrived from Swansea. While he crowded his defence with big, sturdy players, his front line was made up of small, nimble, creative players who can rotate at will. Philippe Coutinho, Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and Victor Moses are the quadrant currently playing their trade, but a different type of player is being linked with a move by The Metro.

Adam Lallana is the man I am referring to, but where would he fit into the fold?

He's a slightly less agile player but a creative one all the same. He has made 18 key passes so far and scored three goals in his 11 topflight appearances.

The flexibility that he offers is something that would fit in brilliantly at Anfield, although he doesn't hold the pace that the rest of the Reds' attacking options do, in my opinion, and that could hinder him.

For me, Lallana should stay put. He's a hero at a club he loves and who are doing incredibly well.
