A Look At Carlos Tevez's Start At Juventus

When Carlos Tevez arrived in the Premier League it wasn't without controversy. The way he signed for West Ham in 2006 was deemed illegal and his help in keeping the Hammers in the topflight was seen as injustice, but Manchester United looked past that and saw the talent.

He moved to Old Trafford in 2007 and went on to be a firm favourite over the two seasons he was there, playing alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.

Then more controversy, as he switched to Manchester City on a free deal. After all the 'RIP' Fergie signs and scandals surrounding his suspension, Tevez finally left our topflight in favour of Italy, with Juventus snapping up the Argentine's signature.

Since his move, he has been their main point of attack and is their joint top scorer in the league with three goals. His technique and the slowed down tempo of Italy has also allowed him to rekindle the creative side of his game, creating 10 opportunities for his team-mates.

His shot accuracy stands at 69% one of the highest at the club, and in typical Tevez style he has won the majority of his duels - including 9/10 tackles.

Tevez is a fine player and Serie A is better off with him, but you get the feeling this is just the start. Should he continue to be the focal point up top for Juve then the 29-year-old could alight European football once again.
