5 right-backs who could replace Bacary Sagna at Arsenal

The future of Bacary Sagna remains in the balance at Arsenal, so here are five right-backs who could take his place should he depart.

    1) Carl Jenkinson - Arsenal

The obvious replacement for the France international is his current understudy Jenkinson. The 21-year-old has thrived in the Gunners side when he's been given the chance and is now at the stage of his career where he will need to step up or step away from the club.

    2) Micah Richards - Manchester City

Strong, Powerful, Domineering and quick with his feet, Richards needs a move away from Manchester City if he is to rekindle the sort of form that we were once used to seeing from him. Injuries have slowed his career down significantly and Arsenal could be the perfect place to bring it to life again.

    3) Stephan Lichtsteiner - Juventus

One of the most rapid full-backs in world football, the Juve right-back would be ideal to link up with Theo Walcott down the flank. With nearly 400 games with Grasshoppers, Lille Lazio and now Juventus, as well as 60 Switzerland caps, the 29-year-old is now nearing the final chapter of his career, and could offer the Gunners the remaining six or seven years of that.

    4) Roberto Rosales - FC Twente

A lesser know outlet now in the shape of Venezuela  international Rosales. The 24-year-old has the technique, the positioning and the power to make a success of himself in the Premier League.

    5) Sebastien Corchia - Sochaux

Despite still only being 22, Corchia has played 156 club games for Le Mans and Sochaux, as well as representing the France U21 side 26 times.

    Personally,

    1) Jenkinson
    2) Van de Wiel
    3) Seamus Colman
    4) De Sciglio/Abate (both AC Milan)
    5)Nathaniel Clyne

Either get the best of get prem experience, some great options really and the key for these boys on the list is their ability to cross a ball, key for our big french stud.

Can't believe Seamus Coleman at Everton never gets a mention, one of the best right backs in the premiership.Sagna has to go ,he is a weak link and the game against Dortmund proved his heart is'nt in it anymore,he regularly doesn't track back and cannot smell the danger, cannot believe this bhas'nt been addressed before as it happens again and again.Gibbs is'nt much better!
