3 Reasons Tottenham Should Reject £6m Sandro Advances From Inter

Close your ears Tottenham fans - The Metro are reporting that Inter are ready to offer £6m for midfield favourite Sandro. However, here are three reasons why Spurs should keep hold of the 24-year-old Brazilian.

    1) Explosive

Since Andre Villas-Boas' arrival in north London he has packed his midfield with athleticism and strength, and there are few more explosive than the Brazilian. He holds the frame, the power and the aggression needed to boss a Premier League midfield to maximum effect.

    2) Tackling

Following on from that, Sandro loves a tackle. He has won 3/4 of his tackles this season and forced opponents into mistakes with his determination to squeeze possession out of them. His movement enables him to stay a step ahead and compliments his ability to read the game, and there isn't a similar player in the Spurs side.

    3) Companion

Sandro can play alongside anyone, which is a rare trait. With Paulinho he is very much the ball winner while his partner picks the passes, and it's the same with Mousa Dembele. Playing alongside Etienne Capoue allows him to press up the pitch more than usual knowing that he has support behind him, and that connection he has and the adaptability is priceless to Spurs, never mind £6m.

And perhaps that at £6million they're massively undervaluing him! This rumour came from that buffoon Sanderson at the Metro, it's unsubstantiated and unsourced just like everything else he writes.

£6 million? try £26 million. Sandro was the best holding midfielder in the league until his injury, and against Villa he was looking close to his best and having him partner paulinho gives us great communication in the middle of the park.

THE BEAST IS BACK, LONG LIVE THE BEAST! COYS!!

    £6 million....had to lol

Try 56 million... Sandro is a powerhouse and could well partner Paulinho in the Brazilian engine room come the World Cup next year. The Beast is not for sale at any price!!!

    £6 million. hahahahaha

Try multiplying that by 5 and you might have a chance!

One of the best defensive mids around!

Since when did you see Levy investing £8.9 mil on a 21 years old and 3 seasons later when he is matured to become the best ball winner in Europe (as figures say) before his injury for a £2.9 mil loss?. Inter valued their two bob player half as good as Sandro at £25 million and rejected our bid of £18 millionin the summer. .Reason because they dont have a pot to piss in at the moment just like their neighbours couldnt even afford £5 mil for Honda in the summer.

    Did you say £60 millon?

    B.F.

This IS Metro we're talking about. Another literary giant like Marca.
Perhaps they missed a zero out? Or maybe the £6m is for his boots?

The main reason that Tottenham should reject the bid is that it doesn't exist. Although rejecting that which doesn't exist isn't easy.

As highlighted in the Aston villa game,
Sandro is a world class defensive midfielder,
And he might still make the Brazillian WC 14 squad,
If he stays fit. I would think 26 million would be a fair at the moment
He is better then Paulinho. He is still young, and will improve over the next fee months.

Levy will never sell THE BEAST.
