Why Ramsey Deserved The Man Of The Match Award In Arsenal's Silky Drubbing Of Norwich

While Match of the Day aired Arsenal's 4-1 drubbing of Norwich, the nation were left with nothing but admiration for how the Gunners  ripped apart the Canaries. Arsene Wenger had his troops firing from all cylinders at the Emirates on Saturday  in a victory that opened up a two-point gap at the top of the Premier League, leaving Chelsea and Liverpool to battle it out for 2nd.

The north London side popped the ball round the pitch like they were sporting the red jerseys of Spain rather than a side who are on a seven year trophy-less streak, and there was one man who was at the centre of the play - Aaron Ramsey.

The Wales international is enjoying an incredible campaign so far and he continued his sterling displays this weekend. He completed 89% of his 57 attempted passes, three of which were key, and he had for shots at goal.

Ramsey also added his ninth goal of the season for Arsenal - his fifth in the league - in what was a brilliant solo effort. After winning the ball in the air, Ramsey then received a pass just inside the Norwich box. He the proceeded to dummy past three players and smash the ball past John Ruddy.

Moments later he was at it again - a floated pass to the back stick picked out Ramsey, but this time instead of going for goal he cushioned a pass to Mesut Ozil who couldn't miss.

Ramsey has been a sensation this season and whatever Wenger has been feeding him has worked wonders.
