Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil - match made in heaven for Arsenal?

Arsenal fans don't usually have a lot to cheer about after an international break, except from the fact that their beloved club returns to action. International breaks usually mean, injuries, injuries and even more injuries. Perhaps broken up by the occasional fatigue factor when players travel as far as the South Americas. Santi Cazorla, for example, often returns from some exotic location or island floating somewhere far away from the comfort of Europe and he also doesn't return until it's too late.

This international break almost ended the worst possible way after Mesut Ozil was seen limping off against Sweden on Tuesday. Fans went into the panic mode and a flurry of tweets followed with people desperate to find even a crumb of good news.

Sure enough, they found it. Ozil was declared fit to play Norwich at the weekend but, as with Cazorla, he is expected to be eased back into the starting line up. This means that we might not see this duo combine until the Borussia Dortmund game next week.

Anyway, down to business. These two players are absolutely fantastic individually. They boast a whole range of strengths with passing the main attribute for them both. They find that finding the perfect pass to split open a defence is like second nature to them. Arsenal already create plenty of chances with just Ozil in the side, imagine Cazorla working his magic.

The amount of destruction these two players could bestow upon any opposition is unthinkable. That's regardless of whether they read from the same page or not, if they manage find themselves on the same wavelength at any point during a game, the opposition may as well just give up trying to stop them.

I hope I haven't hyped their relationship up too much, but the evidence for my opinion lies in what the observer has seen in the past. If you use that as a basis for your opinion, like I have, then you and I are lucky enough to be thinking the same thing. Or not, if you support anyone else.

yea i agree with this article, this two players are absolutely fantastic individual. that why most of my gameweek i chose them. HAHAHAHA. ohmannn i always on tops of the score :) anybody ?? lets beat me on Fantasy Premier League and be a winner .

If names are anything to go by we would have to play the 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-2 formation to fit them all in. The midfield is top heavy with talent so who do you leave out? Ozil is a must, so is Carzola, Ramsey is on a roll and Flamini essential. That leaves the likes of Arteta, Rosicky, Ox-C, Gnarby and Walcott on the bench if we play Giroud and Podolski as a pair. The purist would say we have no width but we may not need it with the amount of defence splitting passes that midfield would provide. I`m no strategist, and it shows, just in awe of the talent we have.

Bow do you hold back the anticipation and the absolutely good feeling?
Is this how Barca fans feel any time their stars take to the pitch to annihilate another opponent? All the signs show that we are on the verge of something great.
    - Several first team international players
    - Young British core led by "Master" Jack..... ok just a few more days and I'll stop calling him "master" Jack in my comments
    - The team is intact from last season
    - Longest serving EPL Mgr.
    - This team also has actual League title winners ( they must know something about winning a league)
    - Belief (As Wenger puts it)
    - Should be tired of imploding by now
    - Have the best EPL record since that Bayern near-come-back the (final tally was actually 3-3) And yes Barca lost
0-7 over two legs to the same Bayern
    - We are not just on top of EPL from this season cos if you add up all the points after that Bayern game (for each
of the 20 teams minus QPR etc) up till the most recent game we would still be leading the table.
    - I know some fans are scared and think its just a matter of time before we return to our old ways, they say we
have not played any difficult games yet (Man U, Chelsea, Everton, Man City, Liverpool)
    - Arsenal is on top because it has improved overall as a team and in the fighting spirit of the players.
    - We have no choice but to aim for the EPL this season. There would still be a chance next season of course
but when was the last time Man U had such a mountain to climb and Chelsea even with Jose looked beatable, - and Man City looking like Man City all over again....
