3 Players I Would Spend My £100m On If I Was Manchester United Manager

With the Daily Star suggesting that Manchester United manager David Moyes has £100m to spend this summer, I have put a list of three players I would move for, if I was the Scot, using the prices on transfermarkt.co.uk.

1) Kyriakos Papadopoulos - Schalke - £13m

The giant Greek defender is an incredible player. Not only does he posses the strength, the bullishness, the aeiral presence and an impeccable reading of the game, but he can also play football to a high level.

He is dominant in every aspect of the game, similar to what Rio Ferdinand used to be but a lot, lot stronger, and would be a brilliant acquisition.

2) Cesc Fabregas - Barcelona - £39.5m

In my eyes, there is no one who would fit into this Manchester United side better than Cesc Fabregas. The former Gooner has everything central midfielders dream of.

He has the technique, the intelligence, the awreness, the goals and the creatiivty and is rightly labelled as one of the finest in world football.

He is the missing link, in my opinion, and is worth splashing out on.

3) Ander Herrera - Athletic Bilbao - £17.5m

A summer target of David Moyes, Herrera would be a brilliant option for Moyes. Shifting Tom Cleverley and Anderson on in January would leave space for Herrera and Fabregas to operate with Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini and would add a huge amount of depth.

Sounds good to me,i think Moyes deserves a season to decide who he wants and who he doesn't, then when he's had a full season and summer to also buy the players he wants that will be the time to start judging him.

What's the point in even suggesting fabregas as a possible target? We all know how good he is but we also know barca don't want to sell and he doesn't want to leave so. Herrera May be a good player but there are better in d German lg that we should go for, gundogan, reus, draxler to name a few. As for a def, garay was ready to come to us but moyes pulled the plug, big mistake!

Perhaps the Greek defender OR Mangala.
Forget Cesc - that aint gonna happen and the fact that Utd wasted so much time and energy chasing meant missing out on players like Ozil, Modric (who i actually prefer to cesc) etc...so I would go for Gundagon, Cabella and also Mascherano (if we are to get a midfielder from Barca) together they would cost abt 35 - 40million, failing that buy back Pogba, and Daehli!!
Sell Anderson, Young, cleverley, Valencia = 30mil + (Vidic and Evra can go in the summer!)
Keep Fabio and Hernandez, bring back Powell and keep an eye on Ravel.
Bring in Coentrao, Mangala/Hummels/Subotic = 25-45million
so in the region of 80-90 mil spent with 30mil+ brought in!
Then a more complete team of the following:
De Gea
Raphael, Mangala, Evans, Fabio/Coentrao
Fellaini
Carrick Gundagon
Kagawa
Rooney RVP
