Could this be the goalkeeper to replace Joe Hart - report

Joe Hart is going through a tough time at present. His string of poor displays has seen the nation jump on his back and talk of him being replaced at Manchester City, and England, is growing louder. Now, the Metro are reporting that the man to do so, at club level anyway, is Willy Caballero of Malaga.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini worked with the shot-stopper while he was in charge in La Liga and was supposedly looking to take him with him to the Etihad.

So far this season Caballero has played eight games for the Spaniards and kept three clean sheets. Hart has made the same amount in seven games, but Caballero has more than doubled the average saves per game - Hart has made 1.43 saves per game, while Caballero 3.

He also betters Hart in the saves per goal area, making 3.43 per goal while Hart averages just 1.25. It says a lot about the defences, but also about the quality of keeper.

Caballero has a better distribution completion than Hart, 61% to 59%, and his 100% success in his claims makes Hart's 93% look measly.

The signing of the bald keeper seems to make perfect sense for City, but whether he will be happy competing for the number 1 spot is a different matter.
