Laudrup set to raid La Liga once again

At the end of the year when fans and pundits alike deliver their opinion on who the signing of the season has been, Michu is likely to feature high on the list. The Spaniard was brought to England by Swansea City after a year with Rayo Vallecano, during which he netted an impressive 17 times in all competitions.

After signing for a fee of just £2m, the 26-year-old has taken to his new surroundings like a duck to water, smashing in 15 goals already, 13 of which have come in the Premier League as Michael Laudrup's side continue to impress.

It comes as no shock to see that Michu has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium, such has his performances turned heads with potential admirers. However, Swansea City could be set to raid La Liga for another cut price bargain once again.

This time, Laudrup has turned his attention to Real Betis midfielder Jose Canas. The 25-year-old has impressed for the Beticos, as they currently find themselves in fifth place in La Liga. Furthermore, with reports suggesting suggesting he could be available for as little as £750,000.

On top of that, Tottenham Hotspur are thought to have shown an interest in Canas, which could see Swansea's capture of the midfielder that more impressive. Either way, his displays for Betis this year has warranted the interest and it's no shock that Laudrup has pick up upon his performances in La Liga this season.
