    Is Leandro Damiao the striker Spurs need? (Video)

    Tottenham Hotspur are one side that are regularly linked with moves for players before, during and after the close of the transfer window. The North London side have a habit of making moves for start players when the opportunity presents itself, such is there desire to become one of the the games strongest football teams.

    As a result, it sees Spurs linked with a potential big money move for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao. The Brazilian youngster has been consistently mooted with a potential switch to White Hart Lane in recent years, such is the clubs need to bring in a new striker.

    Furthermore, with head coach Andre Villas-Boas looking to adopt a 4-2-3-1, Leandro is certainly the ideal target man to lead the frontline. During the Olympics over the summer, the 23-year-old showcased his immense talent as Brazil secured silver following defeat to Mexico in the final.

    While it may've seen his price tag rise significantly, it hasn't thrown Spurs off the scent of the striker. Villas-Boas is thought to be in need of a new striker with only Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor the recognised front-men in the squad. If the 35-year-old is keen another attacking option, Leandro would be the perfect arrival for the North London club.
