    Moussa is the man!

Eden Hazard is the only Belgian sensation at the moment in the Premier League. Marouane Fellaini has been playing well for Everton and Vincent Kompany is ever reliable for City. However lurking quietly in the background of Belgium players within the Premiership is Moussa Dembele.

The Belgian central midfielder has a natural talent when he is on the ball. In his last match as a Fulham player against Manchester United, Dembele made it look easy as he glided past players at ease to create space for his team mates.

Even before the he came to England there was much promise of this young playmaker whilst he was playing in Holland for AZ Alkmaar as he exquisitely demonstrates in the video.

Ever since Dembele came to the Premiership everyone had high hopes for him, and as soon as he started playing it was clear he didn’t disappoint. It was only going to be a matter of time before Dembele would sign for a bigger club, a club that could compete against Europe’s elite.

Dembele caught Tottenham’s eye in 2010 when he was playing for Fulham against Spurs. This all happened after the goal he scored against Spurs on this particular day, Dembele collected the ball on the halfway line and with superb close control ran through on goal evading challenge after challenge to fire past Gomes in goal.

Moussa Dembele isn’t known for scoring many goals for any of his clubs he has been at, however his biggest asset is the chances and creativity he has in his game. When Dembele is on the ball and taking on his opponents he resembles the skill that someone like Lionel Messi possesses, obviously Dembele hasn’t quite achieved as much as the little Argentinean has but they are both similar players.

As Tottenham have lost both Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart, Dembele will have to ensure he lives up to the expectation he has already set himself as he has huge boots to fill, however watching socre as he came off the bench on his Spurs debut I am sure he is more than capable of stepping up to the plate.
