All change at the Emirates next term

Arsene Wenger has always been known for not investing in his squad with big names, but now the current season is yet to end and already Arsenal have seemingly secured the capture of two big name players.

Yann M’Vila and Lukas Podolski look like they’re on their way to the Emirates and after another season without silverware there is a sense of optimism around Arsenal.

It feels like an eternity since Patrick Vieira lifted the FA Cup at the Millennium Stadium and ever since Wenger has come under criticism for his lack of spending, but finally it seems he has given in and money will be splashed out.

M’Vila will be joining from Rennes for nearly £18 million and Podolski from FC Koln for an undisclosed fee expected to be less than that paid for M’Vila.

In previous years Wenger has used the transfer window to buy unknown players, some have worked, and others have not.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been a ravishing success whereas players like Aaron Ramsey, have not.

I will expect Ramsey to be given the boot in the summer for he has been awful since the turn of the year, and his performances have constantly been poor and M’Vila will be a much better fit.

With the possible addition of Clint Dempsey from Fulham next season promises to be the best for years.

Bringing in these three and ditching the garbage that is the likes of Ramsey and Arshavin gives me real belief that we are one defender short of challenging for the title.

    yann still no deal

we have frimpong we dont need another defensive midfielder, personally i believe wenger will not sign m'villa and he would rather groom frimpong, i think i would keep my fingers crossed and hope wenger would sign an attacking midfielder cause lets face it, our midfield has been wanting a times even though have to say Arteta was a great signing. lets see what the prof we do during this summer transfer window but fact remains if we want to be serious conteders of trophies we have to add one or two world class players coz the current squad i have to give it to them, got heart we need a little more spark to light the 'fire'.

you sir are and idiot. Ramsey given the boot because he 'rubbish'?? stfu dumb ass

Podolski comes with loud expectations and lets hope he does not disappoint like one Devor Suker. We need someone in the center and i think the Brazilian Lucas Moura would be quality addition. I know we have moved away from signing them young and full of potential…How about turning Walcott striker next season and sending all the others away so we have RVP, Podolski and Walcott plus Campbell. If we revert to a two man striking role we can give Walcott enough chances to play. I would how ever not mind retaining Park, he may just burst into the scene so maybe a loan arrangement to settle him in the premier league. Move Song to creative Midfield and we have Song, Rosicky, Lucas and Wilshere pushing for the two spots. Ramsey goes on Loan. Get Vertoghen or YMvila and together with Arteta we have two accomplished players vying for the slots there and we have Coquelin, and Frimpong too, get Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa (Montpelier) and get rid of Djourou and Schilachi and you have real competition for the roles in defense. with this arrangement Roy Miyachi, Oxadale Chamberlain, Benik Afobe and the likes get time to grow into the first team. We have Gervinho and we can keep Banayoun just in case. I suspect this will be depth and quality squad ready to challenge for titles next year. Wenger should design a captain system where the will be a defense captain, in charge of ensuring the defense works flawlessly, a midfield captain whose role is transition (defense to attack -attack to defense) and the forward captain in charge of ensuring we maximize the opportunities on attack. Of course the attack captain will be RVP who will also be the overall captain. Wenger should also sign He needs to sign another player who will play every game arsenal will play competitively. He is called the bonus. say 5,000 pound per game up for grabs to be shared out by members the department of the team (defense, midfield or attack, that wins the department of the match honour (Just like being named man of the match). The department that picks more department of the match honours will be declared the department of the season and pick a bonus three times that size with a trophy. Of course such honour is something that Fans can be involved in creating and funding. Finally, Arsene must consider creating a role shift training day every month. At this time in the training groud people shift roles and you will see RVP as goalkeeper, Sczechny is striker pairing with Gibbs, etc. this help the players learn insights about the kind of people they will be up against and what they feel, how they will most probably react and the likes. It will also get the players to appreciate the roles each play in the field.

what a load off rubbish, looks like lazy journalisham to me

This article is garbage, not Ramsey. Ramsey suffered a horrific leg break and needs time to get back to it. It's not his fault Wilshire and Diaby have been injured all season which has meant that he has had to play much more than he was expected to

M'Vila is no deal yet, however Wenger has denied any contact which i believe is bullocks as we did put in a 20mil bid end of last year only for Rennes to knock it back as we offered the money very late. With our CDM position not sorted i do believe we will get M'Vila.

Frimpong?? is not good enough if he was Wenger wouldnt loan him out, clearly not there yet. Song is a creative midfielder and Wenger wants M vila to free up Song thats obvious to see.

For People to understand transfer market it is like a real sneak business. I.E Arsenal enquired about Gareth Barry 3-4 years ago because Liverpool wanted to replace Xabi Alonso for Barry, Arsenal never wanted Barry we wanted Alonso so it was like a monitoring effect hence we put in a 14mil bid for him but Liverpool refused to sell to us and eventually he went to Real Madrid.

Same with M'Vila. Biglia came out and said Arsenal have been in contact with him but thats only for Arsenal to keep track that Real Madrid will not move for M'vila who is Real Madrid target as well (Biglia will notify arsenal that Rm is interested in him). Inter did like M'Vila but M'vILA WILL NOT move there.

I also saw GOTZE on the bench for Borrusia dortmund on the weekend and i do believe he might be Arsenals first choice. Dortmund have already bought Reus and i think we might just have also bought Gotze. Gotze did sign a new deal but thats just to keep Arsenal honest on behalf of Dortmund just so we dont go there dropping the price seeing they have a replacement already.

Gotze deal and Reus is another deal of sneaky business we were linked with Reus but we were never fully interested Reus was used as a tracking tool as Dortmund want Gotze replaced before they let him go hence our 35mil bid of euro last day was rejected. Reus was wanted by Bayern hence we needed to know whats going on hence we tracked Reus (who obviously said Dortmund is his Destinantion)>

    Expect M'vila and Gotze in.
