Lukaku will be right to go out on loan

Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku looks set to move away from Stamford Bridge next season in a bid to gain first-team football.

The young Belgian front-man joined the Blues over the summer for a reported £18m, but has, thus far, failed to net in any of his 10 appearances for the club.

Used sporadically as a substitute, despite the ineffectiveness of Fernando Torres, the powerful 18-year-old has started to become disillusioned with life in West London after failing to appear regularly.

FIFA stipulations mean he has to remain with the club until the end of the season after turning out for both Chelsea and Anderlecht this season.

However, the youngster is open to a temporary move away from the club in order to hone his raw talent with Everton, Fulham, Bolton and Bundesliga outfit HSV Hamburg all interested in a move for the front-man.

And a move away from the club could be ideal to his development as a player. It is evident from his performances with Anderlecht that Lukaku is a player for the future, but unfortunately finds himself behind Torres, Didier Drogba and Daniel Sturridge in the pecking order and has been forced to watch a majority of the Blues performances this season from the bench.

Time with a Premier League club would be ideal so Chelsea can keep a watchful eye over the prodigious Belgium international throughout the season. Lukaku has the physical attributes to succeed in England and just needs game-time to further improve his chances of fulfilling his immense potential.
