Spurs Can Use Bale Sale (Video)

It only seems a matter of time before Gareth Bale leaves Tottenham Hotspur but where for is still not wholly certain. While Bale remains with Spurs there is a way they can more than make the most of everything the Welshman has to offer on the pitch and even financially when he has gone.

Since Bale tore Inter Milan apart twice, showing the world what he was truly capable of, in the Champions League there has been relentless speculation linking the Welsh flier with a move away from North London to a top European side.

During the links away from White Hart Lane voices from inside the club, managers, players and coaches, have attempted to quash any talk of a move although Bale has openly admitted he would like to play in Europe at some point in his career.

The clubs most likely to tempt the young Welshman in to a move are Spanish giants Barcelona or Real Madrid, who hold a ‘partnership’ with Spurs, or Manchester City, although Tottenham will be unwilling to sell to a rival English if it can be avoided.

With no disrespect intended to any of the other players in the current Tottenham squad, Gareth Bale is the only world class player in that squad that could walk in to any side in world football, and I’m sure any manager would welcome the former Southampton man with open arms.

The electrifying pace Bale possesses will be missed on the wings of White Hart Lane, and the Premier League if the move takes the winger abroad, but when a deal is finally done Spurs need to make sure they receive a good figure and make the most of the money.

Spurs chairman can use Bale, while he is still at the club, to propel the side in to the Champions League before moving on and cashing in to invest on players to continue the club’s progression.
