    Longest transfer ever?

It must be about 6 years now, but Carlos Kameni has finally made the move out of Espanyol.

The Cameroonian has been constantly linked with transfers away from the Barcelona club over the past few seasons, notably to Manchester United, but these links have proved fruitless.

However, it looks as if the goalkeeper has put pen to paper on a deal with La Liga money bags Malaga.

This closes possibly one of the longest transfer tales ever, forever pining for a move but never getting his wish.

Still only just approaching his prime, Sir Alex Ferguson may look back on this player and regret opting for a young Spainard still struggling to grow facial hair instead.

Your time has come Carlos, good luck. You've waited long enough.
