Carlisle have a new chef

Dinner is served up in Cumbria, well in the form of goals anyway.

That is what Carlisle United boss Greg Abbott will be hoping after he signed up Sunderland youngster Jordan Cook on a loan deal.

The 21-year old striker no doubt hopes to cook up some delightful performances as the Cumbrian faithful dine out on his feast of delightful finishes.

The Wearside born player/food connoisseur is only at the club for an initial one month, but that could be extended if he gets the 'taste' for it.

Watch this space, he could turn out to be the Bangers to Carlisle's mash as they challenge for a play-off spot.
