Adebayor heading back to City

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor will return to the Eastlands this summer after Real Madrid decided not to take up the option to buy the former Arsenal hit-man.

The lanky forward has been on loan at Madrid since January and has netted 5 goals under the Special One, including a double against former rivals Spurs.

However, Spanish paper Daily Marca reports Madrid can’t justify City’s £14million valuation and the striker’s high wage demands.

It's a shame i really hoped he could win a permanent deal at Real Madrid, he's my favourite striker he's has great ability but just doesn't display it that often.
