Wenger set to cash in on fringe players

A summer clearout at the Emirates looks inevitable with reports this morning suggesting Nicklas Bendtner is set for the exit door. Bendtner is one of many linked with a move away from the club, Emmanuel Eboue, Denilson and Carlos Vela will all be sold in the summer to generate extra funds for new recruits in the summer.

Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy could also be sold if they fail to sign a contract extension.

Leaving Wenger with a void to fill, Arsenal has been linked with Premiership players such as Chris Samba, Gary Cahill and Scott Parker.

Unknown players such as Velez Sarsfield’s Ricardo Alvarez and German whiz kid Mario Gotze have also been linked with a move to North London.
