    Arsenal midfielder demands move

Brazilian midfielder Denilson has said he wants to leave the club after stating it has been his “worst season” of his career.

The 23-year old told the Daily Mail 'I am so upset. I am a winner and I came here to win trophies but I've been here for five years and won nothing.’

‘A footballer's career is over very quickly so it is time for me to move on. This has been the worst season of my life.

'I made up my mind eight months ago. But I haven't said anything because I did not want to disrupt the team during the season.’

'I've been to see Arsene Wenger and told him how I felt and he agreed to let me go. I know some people will think I'm crazy. They are right. It is a great club, with a great organisation, a great manager and so many talented players. I need a fresh challenge and although I'm taking a big gamble, I'm ready to take that risk.'

Denilson was one of many utility players set for the exit door this summer and this recent outburst surely signals the end of Denilson’s 5 year stint at the club.

Dear Dennison,I am so happy even you finally decided it is time to pay back the club by leaving. You have never had a good season here,we all wondered why they kept you, probably you were in. The plans of Wenger in his quest to enthrone mediocrity. The likes of you and Wenger have destroyed this club. Little wonder he granted your request to leave. You would have informed us eight months ago,it would have given us something to cheer about, one day soon your Wenger will follow
please go away you very average player, you think far to much of yourself
