      Spurs and Sunderland battle it for French ace

      Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp and Sunderland’s Steve Bruce will duke it out this summer, for the signature for Lorient hot shot Kevin Gameiro.

      The French international has been on fine form this term, netting 20 goals and currently leads the Ligue 1 top scoring list.

      The 23-year old was watched this weekend by Premiership scouts reports the Mirror and they would have been impressed with the striker, scoring two and winning a penalty.

      Bruce has made the nippy striker his top priority while Harry wants to make one final check before he authorises a move this summer.
