Nasri to be sold if he doesn’t sign extension

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed last night that Samir Nasri is yet to sign a contract extension.

The Mirror reports that Arsenal has tabled a bid of £80,000 a week, but the winger has stalled on signing the contract.

The 23-year old could be sold in the summer or Arsene could risk losing the Frenchmen on a free next summer.

This has alerted Manchester City and Inter Milan who would be interested in signing the player. But Arsene has no plans to change his stringent wages structure; he said "The fast target is not to weaken our team but to strengthen it. We are hopeful but we will do it at the end of the season," he said.

"I will do anything possible to make him stay, but I never speak about the conversations I have with the players.

"We will always have to respect our wages schedule. Financial Fair Play will come in, and because I know Chelsea and Man City has voted for it, I hope as well they will respect it."

With a summer of rebuilding reported, Arsene cannot afford to lose one of his prized assets.

As i said in my prevous comment, let him go,mr wenger, and respect ARSENALS wage structure,if nasri ( or any other player )is gifted enough to win matches single handedley, than all right,he will deserve an 80,000 pounds WAGES,BUT THE FACT THAT THERE are ten other players in the team, than he should be paid the clubs structural wages.if not, kick him out
