Arsenal finally ready to sell Fabregas

The Sun reports that Wenger has finally accepted defeated and will reluctantly sell his captain.

Fabregas has made it clear that he wishes to return to the Catalans one day and with a yet another season without a trophy, Arsene is set to loss his prized asset.

The French boss will want £35m for his man, which appears to be the only stumbling block if a transfer materialises or not, but a move looks almost certain with a club insider stating "There is a feeling Cesc has gone as far as he can with Arsenal.

"He has been with us eight years and believes he has shown great loyalty.

"The team will finish the season empty-handed again and he fears that situation will not change."

This story is obviously untrue. Who told the author of this piece? Arsene Wenger will not accede to selling Fabregas by April when there are a lot of things to play for. Fabregas on his day is still one of the very best midfielders in the world and what arsenal needs now is to buy a tough central defender, a defensive mid fielder and a world class striker and arsenal will be up there. Dismantling the engine room of the team will not help anybody. Let's keep the faith as arsenal will turn good again.

Stryka has to be very careful. It is true that all arsenal fans want arsenal to win trophies including Mr Wenger himself. Arsene Wenger has accepted that his experiments have failed and he will now spend where necessary. We arsenal fans sometimes forget how we became obsessed with arsenal, ofcourse it is because of the sexy football arsenal plays which Mr Wenger epitomises. If arsenal suddenly plays like sttoke city I wonder how many of us will still be obsessed with arsenal.
