    35 year drought ending?

What an important week for Manchester City. An away trip to Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev followed by Reading on Sunday and a home tie the following Thursday to Kiev sees an FA Cup quarter final wedged in a two legged last 16 UEFA cup sandwich in the space of seven days.

The next week for Manchester City is pivotal where they could be basking in hope and glory or total despair, the end of the week could end in city notching another year to the ever growing number. City’s hopes of the league title may be done but with a Champions League place still up for grabs a lot of pressure and expectation lies on Mancini’s shoulders.

With the constant loyal support from the city faithful who have been there since the dark days and would still turn up if they were the best team in the world or playing AFC Wimbledon away on a wintry cold night in January, surely they deserve a bit of luck or a break?
