    Great goal!?...I've seen better

Right lets start with what everyone's been talking about this weekend, Rooney's goal.  I mean yes it was a good goal but I think luck had a lot to do with that.

I bet if you played that ball to Rooney again 9 out of 10 times it would not end up in the back of the net.  I seem to remember Defoe scoring a goal like that against United and I don't think everyone spent the whole weekend going on about it.  Maybe because it was the winner against Man City that it's been talked about so much but I've seen better goals and to be honest I preferred their first goal, I thought that was a good goal.

On the subject of England strikers 87mins on the pitch on Saturday, still no goal for Defoe. 10 months it's been since he last scored a Premier League goal, 10 months.  Yes I know he was out injured for a long time but he's been back for a while now and still nothing and yet he still got picked for England!??.

I don't want to sit here and slag of Defoe because I want to get behind him but it's starting to get a bit annoying now.  I've never seen a striker be offside so much in a game, I mean as a striker surely he doesn't have much to think about, "stay on side and score" but he seems to be struggling with both of those at the minute.  Crouch and Pav aren't that much better at the moment but at least I can remember the last time they have both scored, we have 3 good strikers and yet they are all struggling to score week in week out right now, I can't understand why, at least Crouch has set up a few for VDV.  I'm sure they will all come good soon though I will keep the faith.  Anyways spurs strikers all is forgiven if you score 3 goals each against Milan tomorrow night :-) so nervous already, COME ON YOU SPURS!!
