David P Harrison

My name is David Philip Harrison and I’m 2-years-old. I was born in Douglas, Isle of Man and I am currently studying and based in Newcastle. I gained an undergraduate degree at Newcastle University in BA Politics and History, and I’m due to begin an MA International Multimedia and Journalism degree. I have a passion for all things sport, in particular football and rugby, and have played internationally up until U17 level. I attended King William’s College on the Isle of Man and I am widely travelled through school and independently. My passion for football grew from the links passed through my great-grandfather, Dave Hutchison who was a professional footballer playing centre-half for Dundee FC, and later captain of South Shields in the 1920s.

A borderline masochistic Southampton fan, with a love of all forms of the beautiful game. I studied Sport Journalism at the University of Brighton, graduating in 2010, and have been putting the football world to rights ever since.

I’m a 21-year-old Sports Journalism student at the University of Brighton. Now entering my final year, I have sampled life on the sports desks of The Times and The Guardian, and also edit my course’s sport and youth culture website: ‘Overtime Online’. I am a big fan of all sports, but with a particular fondness for all things violent (boxing, MMA etc). My claim to fame is that I once had my nose broken by Olympic hopeful, Anthony Ogogo. @jonnievale.

I wish to address my journalistic appetite due to the early retirement in the world of football that now places me swapping shin pads for pen and paper. The same passion and desire can be found in my creative writing style, with the world of sport the life for me.

Mikey Mumford

My name’s Mikey and I am a freelance journalist and senior student at the University of Lincoln. I work as sports reporter for the Gainsborough Standard and I am a regular contributor to football’s weekly Non-League Paper. I currently serve as the sports editor of Lincoln’s premier student-run publication, The Linc - shortlisted for the Guardian Student Media Awards in 2009. For the last two years, I have written a weekly betting column for the online betting guide - Free Bet Finder.

Peter Mannion 

I am 27-years-old. I am currently studying BA (Hons) in Sport Journalism at Southampton Solent University. Like any self-confessed Sports Journalists, I am passionate about all sports, but in particular I like football (soccer), rugby union, American football and boxing. Ross Fisher

I am 23-year-old freelance sports, travel and feature journalist based in Essex. I have written for Loaded, Zoo, Front along with T3 magazine and I am a huge sports follower. I am also a self confessed 'goalkeeping geek' who plays semi-pro football. My claim to fame is that I once saved a penalty from Darren Bent as a schoolboy on trial with Charlton FC.
