    Arsenal hopeful over van Persie

Arsenal will head into next week’s make-or-break talks with Robin van Persie, hopeful that the striker will U-turn over his contract claims.

The Dutchman has opted against signing a new deal with the Gunners, who has now entered the final 12 months of his contract.

His decision has sparked outrage amongst the Arsenal community, but manager Arsene Wenger is hoping the 28-year-old will change his mind regarding his intention to leave the club.

Arrant rubbish. They should leave RVP alone & concentrate on pre-season preparation /transfer market. With or without RVP, Arsenal are set to break the trophy draught. Believe.

who these fans who outraged ? rvp been a noose around our neck for 7years and has only produced one good season?
a season by the way where he thought "you know it time to go and i better put in a full season or no one will want me".
do we need him ? not really we had better strikers before him who are committed unlike rvp who is not
