Too Much? Arsenal Should Not Be Held To Ransom By Defender

It is being reported in the Daily Star that Bacary Sagna wants to stay at Arsenal, but wants the club to show how much they value him by offering him a bumper pay deal. Sagna's terms consist of wage demands in the region of £120,000 a week, apparently. which would see him double his current deal. The French right-back's other demands are a signing on fee of £6 Million and he also wants a testimonial.

Why Lukas Podolski Should Leave Arsenal

I'm undecided on Lukas Podolski and his impact at Arsenal. On one hand, his clinical nature has been a very welcome addition, but on the other he doesn't often complete the full 90 minutes and has been injured for a sizeable chunk of his career at Arsenal. With interest coming from Inter Milan, supposedly, it could result in the German attacker leaving the north London club. IBI Times have reported that while Inter Milan officials were in London, discussing a move for Bacary Sagna, they also enquired into Podolski's availability.

Why Mathieu Flamini will be a success at Arsenal

A player whose signing won't particularly excite the fans, but equally will not cause mass outrage - he's firmly stuck in the middle of positivity and negativity. Not many signings under the reign of Wenger can be put into that category. If you take Olivier Giroud for example, he did excite the fans, but not as much as say Santi Cazorla or  Lukas Podolski.
